AUGUST 5 PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:
1. "
Managing the Interactive Process, Reasonable Accommodation and California Leave Laws " Presented by Ann KotlarskiEvery day, human resource professionals are responsible for navigating the detailed and confusing California leave laws that impact their business operations. The leave of absence process is particularly complex in California because of the significant and unique responsibilities imposed by state law. Our seminar will address how to comply with various of the dozens of leave laws with an emphasis on our state's disability leave laws, the interactive process and reasonable accommodation. The program will provide practical pointers for dealing with a variety of leave scenarios which affect every business regardless of size.
Ms.
Kotlarski is a partner in Seyfarth Shaw’s Los Angeles office.
She
has 25 years of experience in employment matters and has defended a wide
variety of employment discrimination and wrongful termination cases. She has
